The World Red Bull Street Style finals 2016 took place in London’s iconic Camden Roundhouse and brought together male and female athletes from 36 countries of the world.
This event is all about the battle zone… held every 2 years and all competitors go head to head over a series of 3 minute battles, between 2 athletes at a time.
Melody is establishing a league of her own in the female side of the sport after winning in Salvador, Brazil in 2014 and again defeating all opponents this time around in London. Her style, consistency and technical difficulty of tricks proved too much for the other girls.
Argentina’s Charly Iacono has an inspirational story of dedication and focus, both in the sport and life in general. He has been regarded a hot favourite to win a major event for the past 4 years but has missed out repeatedly at the last hurdle and taken 2nd place in the previous Red Bull Street Style Finals (Salvador and Tokyo) as well as in the World Tour (Beijing and London)
